What is a Prescription Market?

Traditional prediction markets ask users to bet on outcomes. Referandium flips this paradigm.

Instead of passively predicting, users prescribe the future by signaling YES or NO with SOL. These signals don't just reflect sentiment—they influence reality through community-driven consensus and market-making dynamics.

How It Works

1. Create a Market

Anyone can create a market on any topic — politics, crypto, sports, culture, or anything else. Define a clear question, set resolution criteria, and choose an end date. Markets go live instantly.

2. Signal YES or NO

Deposit SOL to prescribe your conviction. Your principal is always returned — you never lose your deposit. 1 wallet = 1 vote per market.

3. Earn Yield

Your SOL earns yield while locked in the market escrow. When the market closes, claim your full deposit plus your proportional share of the yield earned.

💡 Key: This is not betting. Your SOL is returned 100%. Yield is earned on top as a reward for participation.

Verified creator status is granted by the Referandium team:

2. Review — Your track record, community, and market ideas are evaluated
3. Approval — If accepted, you receive verified status and the ✓ badge
4. Create — Start creating markets and earning yield share

What are Cause Tokens?

When creating a market, creators can optionally launch a Cause Token — a bonding curve token powered by Meteora (opens in a new tab). This allows early supporters of a market's thesis to buy into the cause before it graduates to a full liquidity pool.

How It Works

1. Creator enables Cause Token during market creation
2. Bonding curve launches on Meteora — early buyers get tokens at lower prices
3. As demand grows, the token price increases along the curve
4. Graduation — when the curve fills, the token graduates to a full AMM liquidity pool
5. LP fees are split between the platform and the market creator
